  • Do you offer evening appointments?
    Yes we do, when you call or email us simply give your preferred dates, times and we’ll do our best to work around your commitments.
  • Can I insert an image, video, or gif in my FAQ?
    Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Enter the app’s Settings 2. Click on the “Manage FAQs” button 3. Select the question you would like to add media to 4. When editing your answer click on the camera, video, or GIF icon 5. Add media from your library.
  • What happens during my home visit /commercial appointment?
    Our advisors will bring a range of sample books out to you. If you can let us know in advance what type of blinds, curtains or window covering you’re looking for we’ll make sure we bring the relevant sample collection books for you to browse, whilst we measure up to ensure a perfect and exact fit. We can provide advice on which type of window covering option is best suited to the space. We’ll also give you practical advice and style guidance that’s best suited to your budget.
  • Do you sell blackout blinds?
    Yes we do. We have a range of blackout roller blinds, roman blinds and made to measure curtains that can have the blackout lining to prevent unwanted light getting in or out of the room, creating a dark and peaceful space. Blackout blinds or curtains are perfect for light sleepers or those with young children who want to prevent early awakening.
  • Do you sell lined curtains?
    All our curtains are made to measure come with a choice of linings to suit your needs. Choose from a range of standard cream or white, thermal, bonded interline, bump or fire retardent blackouts. We also provide extra options such as buttons, pelmets, valances and matching tie backs with or without piping. Ask your advisor for more details.
  • What are curtain headings?
    Curtain headings are made up of tightly packed folds which resemble a neat row of pencils giving your curtains a stylish and elegant finish. Our heading styles are as follows: We offer a range of options such as Pencil pleat, Pinch pleat, Duo pleat, goblet style, eyelet style, tab style, tie style and inverted style. Ask your advisor for more details.
  • Are your roman blinds lined?
    As standard all our roman blinds are lined. We also offer blackout lining for that extra bit of unwanted light.
  • Do you sell motorised or electrically operated blinds?
    Yes we do, just give us a call for more details.
  • Do you sell wood venetians?
    We have an extensive range of both wood and faux wood venetians. All available in a range of colours and sizes (25mm, 35mm & 50mm slat sizes). The blinds can be ordered either with or without tapes.
  • What are rigid blinds?
    These are PVC or aluminium blinds which can be fitted to a wide range of window sizes. These blinds are easy to maintain and you can simply clean and wipe these with a damp cloth.
  • Do you sell blinds that fit within a window frame?
    We have a range of blinds called Easy Fit and Perfect fit. These come within a choice of roller, pleated or venetian blinds that are within a frame casing all available in a choice of designs and colours.
  • Do you sell blinds for conservatories, bi-folds or patios?
    We have a range of options for both conservatories and patios. Pleated blinds are a suitable option as they can be tailored to fit different shaped windows. Our collections offer a range of reflective fabrics, dim out, blackout, hive blinds. Panel blinds are also suitable for patios or large length windows such as bio-folds. Our advisors are on hand to discuss the best options for your space.
  • What’s the process after an appointment?
    Once our advisor has visited to your home/property, measured up and you know what style or window covering option you’d like to go for. We can look to provide you with a quote during the home visit or within the next 48 hours. This will be emailed over but we can also give you a call to discuss the options and next steps.
  • Do I have to pay an additional charge for fitting?
    No our expert fitting is all included as standard within the quote we provide to you.
  • How do I make a payment?
    Once you’re happy with your product selection we request an initial 50% deposit on taking the order. The remaining amount is required to be paid in full before your blinds or curtains are due to be fitted. Payment can be taken either on the phone or by visiting our showroom.
  • How long does it take for my blinds, curtains, shutter or awnings take?
    Each product has a different lead time. The lead time for wooden shutters, and awnings tend to be around 8 – 10 weeks. Our advisors can advise on this when they come out to visit you. Alternatively, we can also provide details of exact lead times when the order is placed.
  • Are your products guaranteed?
    Our window covering products are guaranteed for a period of 12 months following the installation date. If you have any problems with any mechanisms, we are happy to come out, take a look and fix if required.
  • Do I need to do anything before my blinds, or curtains are fitted?
    All we ask is that the window area is cleared of any obstructions, and that you remove any existing window coverings. We’ll do the rest.
  • How long does fitting usually take?
    As soon as your blinds have been manufactured, we’ll give you a call to arrange a suitable fitting date. Dependent on the window covering and how many rooms that need to be installed we can advise you in advance to installation, so you can make any necessary arrangements,
  • How do I get my vertical blinds to open properly?
    To prevent any misalignment of slats, when opening and closing your vertical blinds, ensure that all fabric slats are facing the same direction and lay over the top of the neighbouring one.
  • Can I wash my vertical blinds in the washing machine?
    We do not recommend this. However, if you have PVC fabric blinds these can be wiped down with a clean damp cloth.
  • What’s the best way to clean my wooden shutters or venetian blinds?
    Fully close your venetian blinds or shutters with slats facing downwards, you can either use a feather or microfibre duster as a way of removing the dirt, dust or grime. Avoid using furniture polish or any other cleaning products which may cause discolouration or damage. All soft furnishing window coverings such as roman blinds and curtains are dry clean only.
